Chep Lap Kok Airport

Currently the largest architectural project in the world, it is the work of Sir Norman Foster and Partners.

The new airport is being built on the artificial island of Chep Lap Kok, 6 km long and 6 km wide. The terminal is 1500 metres long and the baggage area alone, will be the size of Wembley stadium.

When a second terminal will open, the airport will be handling 87 million passengers a year, the equivalent of the combined traffic of London Heathrow and New York J.F.K as they are today.

3,500 sq m of Intec raised floors have been installed in the control tower, at the heart of the airport system, with inert panels and HPL-laminate top finish.
