The idea was to propose a covered bridge like the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. The project: the first step in the new City project, the Moscova bridge is 213 metres long and on two levels, the first being 14 metres wide, completely covered and containing a shopping precinct; the second is partially covered, 11 metres wide, with panoramic terraces. On the West bank the bridge leads into a building whose hall is linked to the metro station, while the upper floors will house restaurants and cafés. An office building will stand on the other side.
The work has a total useful surface of 13,500 sq m. 3,500 sq m of Monointec® have been installed in the pedestrian and shopping areas because of its excellent impermeability and stability.
